Breathwork

for mental and physical wellbeing

Worldwide, breathwork is being used to help reduce anxiety, increase energy levels and bring about some profound, personal realisations amongst those who practice it.

 

Breathwork is a safe, natural alternative to meditation and has been studied diligently over the past few decades, showing overwhelmingly positive effects on the human nervous system.

Using a simple breathing pattern, we can switch brain states, accessing some of the evolutionary, adaptive abilities which exist within the cells of all humans. Breathwork causes a positive pH shift in your blood chemistry, which in turn, lowers inflammation, calms the mind and leads to the deepest levels of relaxation imaginable. It's the kind of magic the world needs right now.

Common misconceptions about breathwork is that you need to be somehow "spiritually enlightened" to do this practice, that's all a bunch of bs, you just need to breathe. I have been facilitating groups and individuals for over three years, and I'm telling you, as long as you have a "willingness to breathe", you can do this!

Breathwork is for everybody. This is real.

This works the first time you try it and every single time you do it after that.

Realising what our body can do, given the right circumstances, is turning modern medical science on its head, and breathwork, is widely being prescribed to help people manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.

At inXhale, we offer three levels of breathwork:

First Breathwork Journey - we start small with this safe, beginner friendly service. During your first session, we go slow, we cover the basics about the process of breath, it's affects on the human body and we talk what to expect during your first session. You will have a chance to ask questions and explore the practice at your own pace.

Elevate Breathwork - following the globally successful Wim Hof Method (WHM), this session guides you to use a round-based system of controlled, cyclic breathing. This is where things start getting really interesting, this beginner/intermediate level of breathwork will lead you to an altered state of conciousness of feeling deeply connected and relaxed in your body. Medically proven to drastically reduce recovery time from physical exercise and lower inflammation throughout your body, this is a natural and safe practice which has re-written medical text books!  This breathwork will leave you feeling good, grounded and light. 

Transformational Breathwork Journey - this breathwork journey is classified as deep personal work. Here we use a pattern of breath to facilitate emotional/energetic shifts in the body and mind. Commonly referred to as a "Holotropic style" of breathwork, this session starts with journalling, movement and setting intentions. Though big and powerful, this breathwork is compassionately guided in order for the participant to fully let go and experience the deep healing that can come from a transformational session.
